“We had a wonderful week at Boskednan Wartha.”

The property was beautifully presented, comfortable, well equipped with good quality appliances and lovely original artwork. Michael was very helpful and always had time to chat. We had a delicious cream tea waiting for us on arrival plus a bowl of fresh fruit. We hope to return soon. Thank you Michael!

The property

Boskendnan Wartha is a hidden gem offering an exceptional setting, surrounded by mature trees, a gentle stream and rolling countryside yet within easy access to beautiful seaside towns, villages and sandy beaches.

Marazion is just a 15 minute drive, where St Micheal's Mount is a prominent feature, in the other direction is St Ives where bespoke shops, art galleries, sandy beaches and boat trips, a great way of exploring this amazing coastline.

A short drive to the west are the white sands of Sennen Cove, awash with surfers, swimmers and sun worshippers in the summer months it is serene and silent in winter.

This is a delightful holiday destination away from the demands of modern living.

Close to the Atlantic coastline which is rugged and majestically rises up sharply from the ocean.

The cliff tops are wrapped with pretty yellow gorse, indigenous plants and flowers then opens up to pasture where farm animals, mining ruins and ancient stone monuments intersperse this beautiful landscape.

Exploration of the local area by foot, bike or horse is optional but highly recommended.

Charming, cosy and beautifully presented, the interior is warm and welcoming.

The conservatory sitting room allows guests to relax, listen to the wildlife and gaze into the garden or up to the uninterrupted night sky.

With archways linking the sitting room, kitchen and dining room the living accommodation has an airy open plan feel.

The three immaculate bedrooms have high quality furnishings, ornate coving, chandeliers and beautifully made curtains.

A generous size period style bathroom with Edwardian style roll top bath completes the picture.

About the location

PENZANCE

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas. The spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Scilly Isles. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.

Note: All on ground floor however there are internal steps to up to conservatory and one step to kitchen and remainder of property.
