“The cottage is quite idyllic.”
We were met by the owner, Sally,
on arrival who was just so welcoming. The freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream were there. If we had arrived at 4pm, they would have been warm, just out of the oven. This all says so much about the stay. The cottage is ideally suited for exploring Devon and Cornwall. It is so picturesque and the lounge looks out on to a well maintained garden with fields beyond. The cottage is a good size. It was absolutely spotless with fresh flowes in the lounge and bedroom.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances.
The lounge has two good sized, comfortable sofas. There was no need to use the log burner (logs supplied) as the house was so warm. Central heating was excellent.
All beds were so comfy; never slept so well in a long time.Bed linen and towels were of good quality.
The quality of the cottage is credit to the owners who obviously keep it well maintained and up to date. The service they provide is excellent. A smashing couple.
I highly commend this cottage.
Thank you so much. That is such fabulous feedback, you certainly seemed to get about during your stay! Charlie now wants to go back to Scotland since your mention of the North Coast 500. Almost tempted to stay in Goslings myself !
