“We had a wonderful stay at this delightful cottage.”
It is has the most glorious setting! The only sounds to be heard were the birds and sheep. We sat in the garden one night looking at the stars, there was no light pollution to spoil the view, magical. The cottage was warm and cosy, comfortable beds, great hot shower, a big basket of logs for the fire. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a great week. The welcome pack, fresh eggs, wine etc very welcome! Sherry and Dave were lovely hosts, if a little mad, who is out gardening from dawn till dusk? But their efforts were well worth it their garden is gorgeous and they were more than happy for us to share it.
If you are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind you will find no better place to recharge your batteries. But equally you will be well placed to visit many of the beauty spots Devon and Cornwall has to offer.

LIFTON
Launceston 5 miles.
Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
