“Lovely location, the cottage is very well equipped and there was a lovely cream tea to enjoy on arrival.”

The WiFi is unreliable, providing only an intermittent service. The old windows have secondary double glazing, they have mould and mildew growing on them between the panes, we would have liked to open a window in the lounge and the upstairs bedroom but we think that they would have broken had we tried. The owner was very kind and came promptly when we called him to say that we were cold and he put the heating on for us. The cottage is highly rated on the Sykes website and certainly not cheap, overall we are sorry to say that we were disappointed.

Your comments have been noted-thank you for the feedback. The windows should open and we are checking these. The heating tweak followed our discussions on what level best at cusp of year from summer to autumn time. Now on winter schedule plus boost button if needed. Onwards! Property Owner
