“The cottage was in a great location and was well equipped; however there were some issues which need to be addressed: Paint was peeling off the wall in the sitting room and kitchen The floors in the living room, kitchen, and the back bedroom had clumps if dust in many areas Under the sofa near the door was covered in dust and sand Under the bed in the back bedroom was dusty and there was bits of paper and plastic The bottom bunk bed mattress was very uncomfortable In front bedroom there was a large pink stain on the bed base In the information booklet it stated there was an Amazon fire stick with remotes in the tv’s downstairs and in the front bedroom.”

The Amazon fire stick was missing in front bedroom It was unclear when to put out the rubbish and food bins. Also there was a recycling box but it was nearly full (obviously not emptied in a while) The garden area was great; however it could have been better if kept weed free Even though there were issues it is still a good place to stay as it is situated in a lovely village and is very comfortable.

About the location

MOUSEHOLE

Penzance 4 miles; St Ives 12 miles.

A delightful fishing village nestled on a hillside and spilling down to the shore. The picturesque harbour, surrounded by its maze of winding narrow streets, draws visitors from miles around, while in the distance St Michael's Mount stands proudly in the centre of Mounts Bay. A fabulous coastline and miles of spectacular walking characterise the area, with seabirds, seals and wild headlands leading just around the corner to Land's End. The Minack cliff-top theatre is a few miles along the coast, while reminders of the region's ancient past in the form of Dolmens and standing stones appear everywhere. St Ives, with its stunning beaches, beautiful harbour and narrow winding streets is just 12 miles away.
