The property

This Cornish cottage is right in the heart of charismatic Mousehole.

Perfectly positioned to relish every moment in this, famous, quaint fishing village.

This south facing cottage is just a stroll to the quayside where locals swim, launch their kayaks and fishermen still land their daily catch of fresh mackerel, lobster and crab. Come in from a busy day by the seaside, through the sunroom into a bright and cheerful living room, where the age-old features of shelved alcoves beside a granite stone fireplace still remain, adding traditional ambience and character.

A partially glazed wall adds borrowed light to both this room and the kitchen, attractively fitted with pale sage cabinets adds to the cottage appeal.

Paintings by local artists add bright splashes of colour to the pastel walls of three tastefully presented bedrooms, which adds versatility to the accommodation for four.

You'll find yourself wandering past the traditional cottages of Mousehole where several galleries, a general store, post office, two friendly inns, restaurants and cafes serving cream teas, are there to tempt you.

The little harbourside sandy beach offers an idyllic spot for sketching and imaginative photography, and safe sheltered bathing.

Within a short drive are both colourful Marazion and the sunny town of Penzance, bustling with attractive streets with antique and craft shops, pubs and eating houses.

A hot spot not to miss is the stunning golden sand at Porthcurno Beach, with its fantastic Mediterranean feel.

The popular Sennen beach, a paradise for surfers is only a short drive away.

Parking at the cottage can sometimes be found in the vicinity or the harbour car park is within 150 yards.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £125.
