“The property was 5*.”

Everything only looks a few years old and it was very clean, tidy & modern. The location is only 5 mins walk down to Fistrell Beach, which made it ideal to be able to walk back from the beach in wetsuits and get changed at the apartment. The view is exactly as described - there are 2 houses directly in front of the apartment, but you can see glimpses of the beach / sea in between - best view is from the second bedroom.

“Great locution and the apartment had everything we needed.”

Only a few minutes walk to Fistral beach which had beautiful sunsets. However the balcony and patio doors were very dirty covered with bird poo which made seeing out of them and admiring the view very difficult. The apartment was clean on first impressions but on closer inspection the remotes were filthy and the fridge didn’t look as if it had been cleaned. The parking was extremely tight for this particular flat which might be an issue if you have a bigger car.

“2nd stay here and we love it.”

Perfect location right next to Fistral and only a 2 minute drive into Newquay for shopping,bars,restaurants. Great base also for venturing out for beach days elsewhere. Appt was immaculate on arrival and welcome card and bottle of fizz was much appreciated. Appt would benefit from a few upgrades, better TV with access to apps, these didnt work. Think the WIFI is pretty weak so could also upgrade. Maybe also purchase an air fryer/slow cooker as these have become kitchen essentials nowadays. Overall though a great apartment and we will likely retun again

The location was great for us as keen surfer on Fistral Beach. We definitely plan to return. There were a couple of minor maintenance items raised with the property manager which the owner acted on to resolve.

“I was looking for somewhere for me and my son to stay whilst in Newquay learning to surf.”

There is so much choice out there in therms of accommodation, but I have to say how lucky we feel to have found Rosen. It is in a great location; 5 minutes walk and you are on the beach, everywhere else you want to go in the area is a 20 minute walk, maximum. The property is in a quiet location, is extremely modern (loved the Sonos across the property), extremely comfortable (very welcome after an 8 hour journey from home, and then after a tiring day in the sea), and we thought the views were great - we loved waking each morning and checking the surf (and admiring the skill of the surfers) from the second bedroom (the room with the best view in our opinion). The views are limited (due to property in front), but we felt the description ‘sea glimpses’ was almost too cautious, as we found the views of the sea and the golf course to be great, and varied from room to room. Very modern kitchen appliances and every utensil, plates, cups, glasses etc you could ever need. Bathrooms luxurious and the towels provided were of the highest quality. The outdoor shower was a welcome addition as it allowed us to wash the sand off after each day at the beach, to avoid taking into the apartment. The whole place felt safe and secure, including the private parking. And finally, a shout out to the housekeeper Tracey - the apartment was spotless when we arrived, her communication prior to our visit and on arrival was second to none. Thank you also to Tim and Tina, the owners, almost instant reply when I had a couple of questions. There is no doubt we will be returning to Newquay, and Rosen will be our accommodation of choice if available.

Vents in bathrooms hasnt been cleaned for a whilr Fridge had no shelf for milk Draining tray on the sink would be useful. Overall we loved our stay and the accommodation was very good.

“A great property which was perfect for our family stay.”

The apartment was lovely and tidy and clean and two very generous bathrooms which having two children was a blessing. The only slight downside was the TV in the lounge was a little out of touch with technology and I would expect with the price at least a smart TV (not a TV with DVD), especially during the Easter break when the weather wasn’t always kind to us. However I would stay again and recommend!

We provided the DVD player as well to enable people to bring their own DVDs. It may be that some particular Apps are not available on the TV but it does have SMART functions. “I picked this apartment because the photos of the rooms showed beautiful decor, which is something I always look for.”

However, in reality it was even more beautiful and well appointed than even the photos show. Probably the most attractively decorated accommodation we have ever stayed in, and the usual wear and tear of a holiday cottage (marks on carpets/curtains etc) was minimal. It was impressively clean when we arrived and had more utensils/ kitchen accessories than you usually find in a Sykes cottage which was handy. The kitchen equipment (cooker etc) were of a very high spec and easy to use which can often not be the case. The bathrooms were also of an extremely high standard in cleanliness, quality of fittings and ease of understanding shower controls! We had also picked this apartment due to proximity to the beach and the parking space, both of which made the holiday exactly as we had hoped. A really fantastic apartment in every way.

“The view is better than suggested, but they are trying to say that you don't have a clear view of the beach.”

You can see the Newquay Golf course too. You are 3 streets back from the beach. Try the Fort walk, part of the SW Coast path, along the top of the cliff instead of on the beach if you have walking difficulties , as I do. Try the other windows for different views. Try Trevisker Garden Centre near Padstow or local honey.

The apartment has everything you could possibly need including very good hairdryers much to the relief of my wife, it even had bodyboards in the surf store for us to use during our stay, which our grandson took full advantage off. We could not fault anything with the property its absoultly fantstic and cannot recommend it enough, we will definatly be going back.

Newquay is our yearly holiday destination, and it's only possible to fully experience it when we can get quick access to the Fistral beach, and that's exactly what Rosen apartment had to offer, and more. Great design of the apartment, high-quality furniture and fully equipped kitchen created a sense of relaxed atmosphere, where possibility to enjoy morning breakfast or evening meal on the balcony highly contributed to the value of our stay. We all know that times are uncertain and many are worried about the safety aspects of rented accommodations, including our family. However, before we arrived, Tina and Tim took every precaution and put enough safeguarding procedures in place from a hygienic and cleaning perspective that made us feel safe and relaxed. Couldn't ask for a better place to re-connect the family and take a much-needed break from the craziness of the world's recent events.

“Fantastic apartment with great facilities.”

We stayed for a week with our 9 month old daughter. They provided a high chair and a travel cot which were both very good quality. As the apartment is all on one level our daughter loved being able to explore safely. We cooked a few evening meals in the apartment and found everything we needed and more. Slightly out of the way in terms of local shops but morrisons and lidl are only a short drive away so no issues. We walked into town and back a few times during our stay and it was more than manageable...even with a pushchair :)

It's equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Also, in the unlikely event that something needs resolving the owner and caretaker are always available and are extremely helpful. The location is perfect for many beaches, restaurants and great family entertainment. As a family of four we had an excellent stay and hope to return soon.
