    It far exceeded all of our expectations. Our whole week in Morrane was wonderful. The cottage is truly idyllic. Morrane manages to somehow beautifully combine sheer luxury with comfort and homeliness. During our stay, we wanted for nothing as every detail had been thought of and taken care of, from the fluffiest towels for both the bathroom and hot tub, to kitchen foil and condiments. Morrane is a lovely detached, single storey Swiss style lodge offering creature comforts for both dogs and their owners.

The large and enclosed garden with hot tub will get tails wagging and there is a doggie welcome pack and dog friendly pubs, beaches and glorious walks nearby.

It is perfect for couples and families seeking the chance to relax and unwind.

Morrane has a fresh modern home interior, arranged on one level, with a comfortable and casual vibe.

The smart open plan living room with glazed doors to an enclosed deck patio bring the outdoors in.

Guests in the master bedroom have a private decked patio for a morning coffee with delicious views and the en-suite bathroom has a deep stress-busting tub and a separate shower that is large enough for two.

The twin bedroom has comfortable zip and link beds which can be presented as a double on request.

There is a generous welcome tray on arrival and a mid-week bed linen change is available on request.

The nearby cathedral city of Truro has a theatre, cinema, an abundance of restaurants and coffee houses, serving pasties and cream teas. Truro Cathedral is a Victorian Gothic revival, dating back to the late 19th century and showcases a look into historical architecture. Work up an appetite after a round of golf, or hop on the river cruise to the vibrant harbour town of Falmouth and enjoy one of the Cornish ales from the many traditional inns. Hire a bike and explore the woodlands from the cottage; ramblers and four legged friends will enjoy the scenic traffic free trails to the harbour and beach at Portreath on the Atlantic coast. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
