In a peaceful and secluded setting, a mile from Halwell and 1½ from Harbertonford (PO/shop, pub), two cottages and three superb barn conversions at Bickleigh Farm, all sharing an indoor heated swimming pool (39' x 19' x 3' to 4'6" deep, available 8am to 8pm, occasionally also used by owners' family and friends) with toddlers' splash pool, children’s play area (swings, slides, climbing frame), large trampoline and games room (pool table, table tennis, WiFi).
All are on a 300 acre working mixed farm (often lambs, calves and kittens).
Conservation walks with wonderful views to Torbay and Dartmoor have been laid out across the farmland and the properties are positioned to each have their own patio and barbecue area, and share large lawns and garden.

East Bickleigh and Oak Tree (976220) are the two comfortable and very attractive cottages on the same farm, converted from a 17th century farmhouse.
They share the indoor heated swimming pool, children's play area, trampoline and games room with Swallows Reach 976144, The Roundhouse 976196, and The Hay Barn 976197 and each has its own patio.
If booked together, Oak Tree and East Bickleigh have interconnecting doors and the dining area in one cottage can seat 12 people - useful for one large party.
Many original features have been kept: beams, exposed stone, sash windows and large fireplaces.
East Bickleigh has large living/dining room with wood floor (rugs), beams, TV/DVD, big fireplace with woodburner and step up to dining area.
Slate-floored kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, freezer, larder fridge, fridge, 7-burner gas hob/electric oven) with original well, safely glass-topped as an interesting feature.
French windows and steps up to the patio.

Upstairs (stairgates), three bedrooms - a double with en suite shower-room (suite), a twin with large en suite bathroom (suite with huge Victorian bath plus hand-shower), and step up to a large room open to the rafters with 5' double plus two singles, en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath) and French windows leading to step up (handrail) to patio (table/chairs, barbecue) and grassed area.
Halwell: small village (church, good food pub, filling station for basic supplies, bus route) in wooded farmland on the A381 between Totnes (town), 7 miles, and Kingsbridge, 6.
Dartmouth (town) and the sea/beach at Blackpool Sands, 7 miles.
Dartmouth Golf and Country Club (indoor pool), 3 miles; also, leisure park (activities, animals).
