A wonderful barn conversion resting in the quiet hamlet of Liftondown, Langham House Cottage is the perfect romantic bolthole for two close to the Cornish border and in Devon, boasting stunning countryside views.

After a fun-filled day exploring the unspoilt countryside, find yourself winding down into your evening within the first-floor open-plan living space, where a homely sitting area has a large sofa to snuggle on while streaming a new release on the Smart TV.

A warming woodburning stove sits in front of the fabulous feature wall, while the dining area and kitchen lie at the other end of the room, head over here to find a host of appliances within the stylish fitted units, including an electric oven and hob, before sitting down to eat at the dining table enjoying the views from the window.

Take some drinks outside on a summer evening to sit on the first-floor decking as you soak up the incredible views, with an enclosed lawn space below great for letting your four-legged friend stretch their legs.

LIFTON

Launceston 5 miles.

Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
