Visit Cleeve Abbey, an ancient English Heritage monastery, the enchanting Dunster Castle, a National Trust gem, or the picturesque harbour town of Watchet, home to a marina, museums and thriving street markets.

The quiet hamlet of Yarde is perfectly situated in the foothills of the Exmoor National Park, close to the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and only 2 miles from the west Somerset coast. The area is well served by local shops and pubs, with the attractive West Somerset Railway also passing through, providing a lovely relaxing trip along the coast from the popular seaside resort of Minehead through glorious unspoilt countryside - a treat not to be missed! Within a short drive are the pretty coastal settlements of Watchet, Blue Anchor and Porlock Weir and the South West Coast Path, providing wonderful walking and cycling opportunities for those wanting to admire the incredible coastal views. A visit to the historic village of Dunster, with its yarn market and ancient castle, is also a must. There is so much on offer in this super area for all the family.
