“A lovely property, very homely, clean and well maintained.”

Huge comfortable bed giving a good nights sleep. Conservatory overlooking private garden where you could view the population of garden birds feeding on the bird feeders was a lovely sight. Everything was on hand in the bungalow except one minor point, no electric shaver point but minor point indeed and would highly recommend this gorgeous property. The New Inn pub just a 5 minute walk from the bungalow served excellent meals, best to book though.

Hi Phillip - Thank you for your Very Positive Feedback on your recent stay with us at Little Willesleigh. We're Very Lucky to have all sorts of the Local Wildlife visit us as Well. We do advise our Guests to Book in Advance for the New Inn in the email we send out to our Guests, usually a week before their arrival, but thanks for pointing it out to our future Guests. As for the Shaver Point we were advised by our local electrician that to fit a Shaver Point in the Bathroom would be very difficult as it has a 4 piece Bathroom suite, also as Majority of Shavers nowadays are Cordless Battery Units, we took the decision not to have one fitted, a Shaver Adapter is Provided in the Drawer with the Supplied Hair Dryer - Best Wishes Kym & Brady Property Owner

Barnstaple 3 miles.

This well-presented ground floor holiday home is attached to the owners' large bungalow in Goodleigh, a small quiet North Devon village on the edge of Exmoor National Park.

In a rural setting with a stream running through the ownersÂ’ garden and a five minute walk to the friendly village pub, this is an ideal retreat for a couple.

All on the ground floor, this cottage is particularly spacious with a living area with two comfy leather sofas, a super king-size en-suite bedroom and a warm, sunny conservatory overlooking the enclosed side garden, which is for the exclusive use of guests.

The garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and extensive views across the gardens to the countryside beyond.

The local village pub is very popular and offers home-cooked food and local ales.

Barnstaple is just three miles away and has plenty of independent boutique shops, proud local food producers selling their delicious delicacies in the Pannier Market and, of course, the townÂ’s colourful history.

ItÂ’s this mix of new and old, of modern and traditional thatÂ’s behind BarnstapleÂ’s charm.

Exmoor provides a great escape for walkers and wildlife lovers, whilst the spectacular North Devon beaches are all a short drive from your holiday cottage and provide endless sea, sand and surf for all members of the family.

A welcoming cottage near the moorland and coast, perfect for couples and lovers of a quiet life in the country.
