    “Foxglove Barn is an absolute gem.”

    Howard and Suzie are perfect hosts, gave us space to relax but also happy to help with any queries. All the little things that are usually missing in a holiday let have been thought of and made it feel like a home from home. The house is so cosy, well equipped, comfortable beds, space to relax, plenty of bathrooms and a fabulous hot tub. The welcome gifts were incredible, really made us feel welcome and were super helpful for our stay. We would 100% recommend Foxglove Barn and look forward to ...

Set near to the village of South Brent in the beautiful Devon countryside, this charming barn conversion is located in a barn complex with the owner's home next door.

Foxglove Barn, which is situated on the outskirts of the Dartmoor National Park Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, makes a wonderful comfortable family home base from which to explore Devon's scenic countryside and spectacular coastline: cyclists will be delighted to discover that the National Cycle Network passes the end of the driveway.

Once inside, you'll find the kitchen/diner, equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. This welcoming living area features french doors opening to the patio, offering the ideal social space for dining and relaxing. Enjoy your dinner at the dining table before moving upstairs to the living room, which is furnished with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and an electric fireplace.

The bedrooms are located at each end of the space; the master bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV with Roku stick and DVD player, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom, while the family room has a double and a single bed and a smart TV, as well as an en-suite shower, WC and basin.

After a day of exploration, relax in the hot tub or take a seat on the patio furniture and watch the sun go down. There is also a barbeque, so you can enjoy a grilled feast after a long day.

The village of South Brent, which is within two miles, has a convenience store and pubs, so you can reward yourself with a pint and meal after a day of exploring.

Totnes is located seven miles away and boasts a variety of quirky stores where you can buy gifts to take home, browse a wide selection of food and drink options, take River Dart cruises and see the Norman Totnes Castle.

Visit the award-winning Pennywell Farm, which is home to over 150 animals and offers interactive exhibits, rides and shows, a perfect day out with kids. For the more adventurous Woodlands Theme Park has something for everyone.

The South Devon coastline offers sand, sea and surf, as well the spectacular coastal path. Take a trip to Bigbury for a great family day out with beach fun, water sports and rockpools: for something a bit different take the sea tractor to Burgh Island with its 14th Century Inn and Art Deco hotel.

Or visit the historic ocean city of Plymouth with the Hoe, Barbican, Mayflower steps and National Marine Aquarium.

Located on the Southern edge of Dartmoor, England is the charming village of South Brent. This village is packed with history which dates back to the Bronze Age meaning that many hut circles, enclosures and barrows are found on the high moorlands. On Brent Hill, ruins of an ancient building and windmill remain, thought to date back to around 1790. The village is within the boundaries of Dartmoor National Park, with several shops and pubs in the village centre. Nearby is Pennywell Farm which is only 3 miles away, Totnes Castle which is 6.1 miles away, Wrangaton Golf Club 3 miles away and Dainton Park Golf Club can be found within 10 miles of the village.
