    “We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage.”

    Our only complaint would be the Sykes description of an 'enclosed garden' which is misleading in that it is not at all enclosed and therefore not easy with a dog. Other than that it's an ideal cottage for exploring the beauitful area.

Further afield, you will discover Hartland Abbey & Gardens which dates back to the 12th century and offers some of the most beautiful views imaginable.

Westward Ho! boasts the North Burrows Country Park, Westward Ho! Beach, also extremely dog-friendly and The BIG Sheep amusement park, whilst the thriving town of Barnstaple provides an array of local eateries for that fine dining experience and some shops for picking up any last-minute essentials for an evening meal.

Nearby Hartland Forest encompasses hundreds of acres of Forestry Commission woodland, whilst just 5 miles away lies the village of Clovelly, renowned for its flower-strewn cottages and steep cobbled footpath leading down to the 14th Century harbour.
