Head into the kitchen/diner, contemporarily finished with all expected appliances and a charming splashback, featuring a map of the local area.

On warmer evenings, discover the rear garden, where you can dine alfresco, prepare a barbecue, or take a long soak in the hot tub, before returning indoors for a quick refresh in either the ground floor shower room or bathroom.

The cottage is complete with three well-presented bedrooms, offering the epitome of flexibility, including a ground-floor twin (zip/link), a double, and a twin, providing a space for all types of groups.

As the sun rises, enjoy a morning coffee upon the front courtyard before heading into Witheridge to explore the local area.

Witheridge is visited every other saturday by a Thai food van, pizza van on Wednesday's and fish & chip shop van on Fridays.

If you are looking for fine dining for that special occasion, a private in-house chef is bookable on request (further details available from the owner after booking).

By car, reach Tiverton and its array of attractions, including Knightshayes Court, a grand National Trust property, Tiverton Castle, offering tours and a tearoom, Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life, and family-friendly trips at Devon Railway Centre.

South Molton is also a popular area to plan into your itinerary, home to Quince Honey Farm, where you can produce your very own jar of honey, and South Molton & District Museum, where you can brush up on your local knowledge, whilst South Molton Community Woodland is a recommended landscape for those who enjoy countryside walks and hikes, there is also the popular Pannier Market on Thursday and Saturdays.

Hope House Stables is well-positioned to reach Dartmoor National Park, possible to reach by car, peppered with hidden gems, nature reserves and beauty spots, recommended to pack your walking boots for.

Keen walkers can also join the walk 'The Two Moors Way' from Lynton to Bixham as it passes through Witheridge.

For golfers, there is an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course nearby.

For those with children, you can explore Exmoor Zoo and at Coombe Martin is a Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

If you want to head to either Exeter or Barnstaple, there is a bus stop at the end of the road with a frequent service.

Kings Nympton 9 miles; Chulmleigh 9.5 miles; South Molton 10 miles; Tiverton 10.5 miles.

The quaint little village of Witheridge sits amongst beautiful Devon countryside, with lots of little old houses, a pub, convenience store, a newsagents an even a visiting pizza van, The travelling Pizzeria, which serves wood-fired pizzas fresh from its van in the village each Wednesday, or the fish and chip van, which calls on the village each Friday. The beautiful thatched village of Kings Nympton is just a short drive away and was voted Devon Village of the Year in 1999 by the Campaign for the Preservation of Rural England. Quintessentially English, the village is home to the award-winning thatched and beamed The Grove Inn, which serves excellent home-cooked food and a wonderful range of ale and cider all year round. Chulmleigh to the west offers a couple of pubs, restaurants and takeaways, along with convenience stores and an excellent butchers and bakery, whilst the historic town of Tiverton to the west boasts a selection of interesting boutiques, farm shops, along with lovely walks along the River Exe.
With Exmoor and Dartmoor so close, there is great walking in the area, and within an hour's drive you can reach the coast at a number of lovely beaches.
