A very pretty, tranquil location, but be aware of a busy narrow road. The garden is not enclosed, so our dog remained on the lead. Also the steps up to cottage, I would say, are more than a few! Quite a job pulling suitcase up then down! The sitting area is nicely furnished with a good TV and radio, unfortunately, the seating is rather uncomfortable. I feel that in the property description on line, it should be mentioned that when the Castle closes in November, the Cafe closes too, so no catering, cream teas etc for cottage occupants, that was a disappointment!
