“The garden was unkempt with the grass over grown and plants left to go wild.”

The cushions for the garden furniture was locked in a garden box but no key was available. The script suggests having dinner ‘al fresco’ however the furniture was not suitable for a meal, being so low, coffee table. Reviews in the Visitor Book mentioned a Welcome Pack but there was nothing for us. Parking was difficult - we only managed to park once outside Daisy Cottage…..overall we were disappointed.

Dear Robert, we are very sorry you had such a bad experience. Thank you for bringing the rubbish to our attention, this along with the welcome pack and toilet rolls are handled by our cleaning company and I will be discussing what went wrong. On the garden we were aware of this and have recently converted the grass to astroturf and tidied it up so that should be much improved. I will update the welcome information to include the location of the key for the cushion box. Once again our apologies for the bad experience David & Stella Property Owner
