Explore the peaceful surroundings and take a stroll among the encompassing verdant fields and farmland before heading over to Barnstaple town centre where you'll find an abundance of shopping facilities to stock up on goods, as well as local pubs and restaurants for when you fancy an evening out of the kitchen, or enjoy a romantic walk next to the River Taw.

Nearer to home, the villages of Braunton, Muddiford, West Down have a variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops, whilst the Marwood Gardens and Tea Rooms are less than 1 mile away.

Barnstaple enjoys a superb location at the mouth of the Taw Estuary, on the spectacular North Devon coastline between Westward Ho! and Croyde and is a short drive from the Exmoor National Park. Barnstaple is a busy traditional Devon coastal town with a pannier market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two fabulous sandy beaches, which are popular with surfers and families. The town is renowned for its floral displays having won a Britain in Bloom award and flowers are found around every corner of the town in the most unusual places.
