Hello we are so glad you had a lovely stay…so sorry about the teapot…this was accidentally broken and I’m aware it needs replacing. There is a metal shelf in the shower for toiletries and two shelves behind the bath…also a small shelf below the basin…Hope this helps if you would like to stay with us again. Property Owner

“Our second visit to this lovely cottage.”

It was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. It’s very well positioned you can walk out of the front door and everything is so close, pubs, shops, cafes, buses and trains. We had a fantastic week and are already looking at returning. The cleanliness of the property is a credit to the owners thank you for another great week.

“Seaspray is an absolute little gem.”

So glad we stayed and will definitely book for next year. Very clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Central to town so all amenities on door step. A lovely little welcome pack of scones cream and jam,bottle of bubbly and milk was a very kind gesture. Very lovely owners as we took one last walk past the cottage on way back to car, they were there preparing for the next booking. So looking forward to next year.

“What a lovely holiday cottage - excellent location, beautiful inside and everything catered for.”

Everything within walking distance; beaches, play park, car parks, lovely fish and chip shop and bakery. Only one small negative is that it is located near a couple of pubs and there was some noise at night but apart from that a very enjoyable stay - we would definitely stay here again.

“Tucked away a few yards from the River Beach and the Arts Quarter, in easy reach of shops, walks and beach, Seaspray is a delight.”

It's a great base to explore Teignmouth and its location makes it so easy to take a bus or train to explore Devon - or even venture into Cornwall and Dorset. It's handy for the Shaldon ferry and the Starcross to Exmouth. And it's a home from home - very comfortable beds, a spacious, well-lit kitchen area for supper at home and an excellent shower. We would definitely recommend it.

“Seaspray is an absolute gem.”

We had some hesitation about giving it such a good review as we'd really like to keep the secret all to ourselves! It was exactly as described on the website but even better. Characterful, warm and comfortable, well-equipped and immaculate. If you like being beside the estuary gazing at the ever-changing sky and listening to the screaming of the gulls then the location is perfect. We loved it.

“What a superb property.”

The small touches of scones and Prosecco and a lovely welcome card. This property feels like home from home, the bathroom is insanely beautiful and the whole house feels fresh and clean. “Amazing, so clean and everything you need, close to town , Hayley contact me to make sure we was OK.”

Lovely jam and cream scones on arrival. I would recommend to friends and family we used the bus to visit places as its only £2 each way and when on the steam train. We used a beautiful restaurant called finnley brown and they do tapas on a Friday night it was amazing and so friendly. Definitely come back amazing experience.

“Seaspray is an excellent place to visit.”

The holiday cottage is absolutely immaculate. The welcome pack was perfect, and the owner even left me some chocolates as it was my birthday. The scones, clotted cream, jam and wine were a special touch. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is decorated to a very high standard. The cottage is as close to a beach and a pub as you could possibly get. Very close to all amenities and parking is also really cheap. I would highly recommend this place. A definite 5 star from us, and we will definitely be going back

TEIGNMOUTH

Dartmoor National Park 12 miles; Torbay 13 miles; Exeter 15 miles.

The historic, seaside town of Teignmouth is situated in South Devon on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a working harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activity centre. The seaward side of the town is known as ‘the Den’ and has elegant Georgian buildings, a large public area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a miniature lighthouse. On the opposite side of Teignmouth are fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of the village of Shaldon and the hills of Dartmoor can be seen. Teignmouth also hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, whilst both the town and Shaldon hold annual carnivals and water regattas.
