Sunday Cottage, a renovated Sunday School is nestled in the quiet village Sampford Courtenay on the outskirts of North Tawton, Devon.

Set over two floors and sleeping up to four guests, Sunday Cottage is an idyllic getaway for couples, friends, and families alike.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a private courtyard at the front of the cottage, soon entering the homely sitting room with a warming woodburning stove that offers a sense of comfort, and a Smart TV that makes this room a perfect place to unwind after a busy day.

Head up the three steps into the spacious kitchen/diner with pristine white countertops and all the essential appliances you could need to cater for the group.

As the evening draws to a close, two spacious bedrooms await you and your guests at the top of the stairs, one is king-size and the other super king zip link, both rooms have plenty of storage to house your belongings.

This floor also hosts a contemporary and brightly-decorated bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower.

Back on the ground floor enjoy a beautiful summer day outside on the patio with furniture, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening drinks.

Sunday Cottage is a stone’s throw away from the village pub, The New Inn, an ideal place for an evening out.

For days out head to Okehampton which boasts the Museum of Dartmoor Life and Okehampton Castle a medieval ruin with scenic picnic spots; there are also a variety of bars here making it perfect for a night out.

You can explore more history and heritage in Dartmoor National Park which is home to Nine Stones Circle and the National Trust Finch Foundry, a water powered forge with demonstrations; this picturesque National Park also has a plethora of walking routes that allow you to fully appreciate the panoramic views with your friends or canine companion.
