    “Lovely old hay barn conversion.”

Everything you need is provided. Could do with a few lamps in the main room as the spot lights are many and very bright. Overall a very relaxing break. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs. The owner was helpful. Beautiful part of our country.

OKEHAMPTON

Exeter 23 miles.

Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. To the north of Okehampton are some beautiful rolling Devon hills where small farming villages nestle amidst woods and fields with plenty of gently flowing rivers. The fabulous Roadford Reservoir offers a multitude of watersport activities and fishing opportunities. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory: The Dartmoor Line now operates a service between Okehampton and Exeter every hour, 7 days a week.
