“A lovely place to stay on the edge of Dartmoor.”

Well equipped, comfortable and cosy. The owners were extremely welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended! Be careful on the track down to the property, I wouldn't want to attempt it on a motorbike again!

From here, a double bed beckons after a day of sightseeing, and a bathroom with a shower ensures that you'll feel clean and ready for more adventures.

South Zeal, home to two charming country pubs, and Sticklepath, where the River Taw flows, are just a short drive away and offer a plethora of walking opportunities.

Near the northern border of Dartmoor, the bustling town of Okehampton is a great place to learn about the region's history thanks to attractions like Okehampton Castle and the Museum of Dartmoor Life; the town even has train links to Crediton and Exeter. The National Trust's Finch Foundry is also a popular destination thanks to its beautiful gardens and picnic areas.
