The property

This lovely detached property is situated in a great location, down a driveway on a hillside, three miles from the Dartmoor town of Chagford.

This beautiful home is ideal for large families or gatherings of friends because it has a terrace that spans the entire width of the building and provides views of the Teign Valley and Castle Drogo.

The spacious sitting area includes an open fireplace, plush armchairs, and French windows that open to the patio.

You'll love spending time in the kitchen, another great space where you can dine around the sizable table, relax in the seating area while taking in views of Dartmoor, watch TV, or quickly whip up a dish while the kids play with the included toys.

Also accessible from a study are those time-wasting panoramas.

Take the stairs to the first floor to access a game area where you may play pool or table football or watch TV.

The huge master bedroom, complete with its own sunroom that leads you through to a balcony where you can stare over Castle Drogo with an evening drink, is the highlight of the property.

All the bedrooms are stylish, have beautiful views, and a TV.

The second level has two huge bedrooms under the eaves that share a bathroom, along with three further bedrooms, a shower room, and a gorgeous bathroom.

Okehampton 12 miles; Exeter 21 miles.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Chagford, one of the five Stannary towns of Dartmoor, is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and a seasonal, open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. It is a town of great history, home to the Three Crowns Hotel which dates back to the 1200's. Chagford is well known for its culture, hosting film, literary and music festivals in the town as well as an annual running race, known as Two Hills Race. Just over 21 miles away is the bustling, beautiful city of Exeter for a different kind of break, definitely worth a visit. The charming, attractive town of Okehampton sits just 12 miles away.
