“Unfortunately the Tv in the lounge wasn’t working, there were no dustbin bags for rubbish and there was lots of dog faeces that didn’t belong to mine.”

This is our second visit to the property and unfortunately we probably will not return. There were too many things just not good enough. On the plus side the pool was great and the beds were comfy but the downstairs bedrooms were freezing cold and we needed blow air heaters to warm them up

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all comments seriously and strive to address any concerns. Regarding the TV, it was checked on the day of check-in and was fully operational. We would have been more than happy to assist if you had contacted us during your stay, as it’s possible a simple adjustment or reset could have resolved the issue. As for the rubbish bags, we do provide spare bags, which are typically left in the drawer next to the sink or on the side. We’ll ensure this is more clearly communicated moving forward. We understand the frustration regarding the dog faeces and sincerely apologise for that. Our gardens are checked on every changeover, and we’ll ensure the outdoor areas are reviewed more thoroughly. Regarding the radiators, they were inspected on departure and seem to be working fine. If you had reached out, we would have been happy to provide assistance. It’s always helpful to receive direct communication during your stay, as we could have addressed these issues immediately to ensure a more comfortable experience. We appreciate your kind words about the pool and beds and hope we might have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

About the location

HARTLAND

Meddon 5.5 miles.

The village of Hartland, whose parish includes the hamlet of Stoke to the west and the village of Meddon in the south, is the most northwesterly settlement in the county of Devon, England. The town of Hartland is remote and hosts many craft shops and potteries in addition to cafés and restaurants. There is a long main street, with cottages either side, leading to the town square and the church of St John. Enjoy views of the coastline in the British Isles from Hartland Point. There are many vantage points, accessible by car or on foot, from which you can admire views of the coast. Not far away is Hartland Quay, with much to see and available accommodation. A local Shipwreck Museum is certainly worth a visit.
