    “We had a great holiday, the location is wonderful, kids loved the animals, play area, garden, you’re in a very rural location but not far from local amenities and attractions.”

    The farmhouse is very roomy, comfortable and sufficient and a great place for families to holiday together. The farmhouse could do with a little TLC - hole in bedroom carpet, squeaky floorboards screwing tight - furniture rattles when you are walking across floors - difficult with a baby asleep, towel radiator in shower room not working, kitchen bit tired, no hangers in some wardrobes, but value for money cannot fault it and owners are lovely.

There is plenty of opportunity for the group to spread out and unwind in the two living areas, which include a sofa, a Smart TV, and an armchair in the sitting room and a sofa and Smart TV in the snug.

Take some time to relax and take in the expansive gardens, which are ideal for a summer night as your pooch stretches their legs.

The bedrooms are located upstairs and come in several configurations; there are two family rooms (one with a double and single bed and one with a king size bed and a singe bed), as well as a further double and a twin.

There is a family bathroom and a separate shower room that serve the bedrooms.

Explore the region by wandering the Teigngrace Meadow Nature Reserve, home to a variety of meadows, riverfront walks, and gorgeous views.

The facilities of Newton Abbot, a historic market town with a bustling highstreet, an indoor and outdoor market, and a variety of cafés, restaurants, bars, and pubs, are just two miles away.

There are a choice of bike and walking trails that pass through the town and lead out into the surrounding countryside, one of which is the 18-mile Templer Way, which runs from the neighbouring Dartmoor National Park through the town and on to Teignmouth.

Be sure to visit the English Riviera: Torquay, Brixham, and Paignton, as well as the coastal towns of Teignmouth, Dawlish, and Dawlish Warren while you're in the area.

Nestled in South Devon's most breathtaking countryside, on the eastern fringes of Dartmoor National Park, these properties are wonderfully appointed offering you a well-earned break with your loved ones. With many exciting attractions nearby, this working farm covers almost 250 acres for you to roam at your own leisure. Bordered by the River Teign, on the edge of the village of Teigngrace, you have a lovely rural setting, with a fishing lake nearby and an abundance of wildlife, leaving you to enjoy an adventurous family holiday. There are thirteen properties on site. Relax and unwind after a busy day trying out the local activities. Wander along pretty streams or explore rambling woods from your doorstep. On-site is also an outdoor heated swimming pool, which is shared with the neighbouring camp site and can be used from May to September, as well as a shop and children's playground available the year-round. Newton Abbot is situated in the heart of The English Riviera, with its mild climate and thriving palm trees. The ancient market town now offers plenty of modern shops, both local and well-known high street chains and six leading brand supermarkets. There's also a racecourse where National Hunt racing takes place from spring until autumn, with craft fayres during the winter. Newton Abbot has a unique pub, the tap house and bottle shop, located in the building of what was a traditional working malthouse offering arguably the finest bottled beers in Devon. The seaside towns of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish are nearby and are fantastic destinations for families. Spend a day on the beach building sand castles and walk the impressive Victorian Pier at Teignmouth.
