“We all had a very good stay for our first time away in Westward Ho.”

The apartment was very nice and comfortable with just the broken kitchen window causing quiet a lot of noise due to the winds blowing through it which at times was horrendous but it did not spoil out time there. The only other thing was that we felt the need to wash all the dishes as some were not very clean with residue food still stuck on many of them but this was something we didn't mind doing. Overall, the apartment was very enjoyable , clean and comfy and would return again and also recommend to anyone staying in Westward Ho.

Owners Tim & Denise were very nice & helpful, actually met Denise who was lovely and so welcoming. Also met the house keeper Sharlene who was lovely too. The property was comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay there. Lovely sea views, 2 min walk to the coastal path where there was lots of shops and eateries which was fabulous. Supermarkets al 10min drive away so very convenient. I would recommend this place and would definately stay here again. Only one issue which maybe wouldn't affect others is that we found it very uncomfortable sleeping on mattress toppers they were way too hot. We would have preferred just a mattress without toppers on. Everything else was great so thankyou Tim & Denise for a lovely stay at your property and Sharlene for the cleanliness of the property.

Also available and extremely helpful is full information and details of all facilities in the apartment. It is also ideally situated for days out such as Lynton & Lynmouth, or down into Cornwall to Tintagel & Boscastle. Again many thanks to Tim & Denise for another lovely stay in their beautiful home and to Sharlene who keeps it so well managed and spotlessly clean.. We can't wait to return and hope to soon book again for next year.

“We had a really lovely and especially comfortable holiday at this beautiful apartment.”

It was our second holiday here and we were lucky enough to be able to stay longer this time. We were extremely lucky with the weather with two glorious weeks of sun and beautiful sunsets. It is a real home from home with everything provided that we needed and more, and kept spotlessly clean by Sharlene. The property is ideally situated for touring North Devon and also Tintagel and Port Isaac, which are are within easy reach. A very big thank you to Tim & Denise for the lovely welcome basket, especially the Hockings vouchers, which we really appreciated. We hope we can soon book our next visit to 37 Ocean Park. We really can't wait to return again in the near future.

The proximity to a local bus service which has allowed to access the Tarka Trail at several points and enjoy some fantastic walks without the need to use the car created a very relaxing break. The beautiful weather ending each day with stunning sunsets was perfect. Local pubs and restaurants providing high standard food and service. Just 100%.

Once again pre-holiday arrangements were seamless, instructions comprehensive and accurate, the welcome genuine and warm. We particularly appreciated the fact that after our first stay we commented to the owners that the double bed mattress was rather tired and lumpy; we were assured this would be looked in to and this year the old mattress had been replaced with a new, very comfy one. Denise and Tim are wonderful hosts and the apartment is a real home from home..

The property had everything you could need for your stay. The milk in the fridge and the welcome tray were nice touches, thank you. We gave a neutral mark for comfort as we found the beds in the twin room and the sofa in the lounge to be a bit uncomfortable. Although this maybe more to do with our age (60+), sofa a bit difficult for my wife to get out of. That being said, we would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a peaceful stay with great views. Thank you

“The apartment was spacious - plenty of room for four people to share without getting in each other's way.”

It was also spotless and had that home from home feeling. Every potential cooking situation is considered and provided for (not that we did much). Our greatest surprise was just how brilliant a sea view we had - from almost every window in the apartment. It was such a treat for us to watch the waves from our comfy sofa and on bright days we also had a great view of the distant hills. The apartment's location is a bonus too - being an easy walk into town or to the promenade yet far enough away to avoid the potential noise of night time revellers. Being able to do a coastal walk from our front door was a massive treat for us. The owners also made a real difference to the holiday - they were welcoming and reassuring prior to the trip and communication was easy with them. We would highly recommend this apartment and we look forward to using it again.

Easy parking. Comfy beds. Free Wi-fi for the days you don’t want to just sit admiring the view from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach and a lovely pub. No noise from adjoining properties. The only tongue in cheek complaint is that the days spent at 37 Ocean Park speed by more quickly than the days waiting to go on holiday. Our second visit and hopefully not our last. X

The information provided by the owners was spot on. The directions and details of access were easy to follow. The flat itself was heaven. We arrived during hurricane Hannah and the views from the patio windows were priceless. We self cater so we can eat at “home” and the facilities and equipment were excellent with a sea view from the sink. The beds are so comfy. The bathrooms and fluffy towels perfect. This holiday was perfect. We would wholly recommend this flat to anyone. X

Apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay from soap to kitchen roll to hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen, it’s like a home from home and is spotlessly clean. There’s a welcome tray on arrival and milk in the fridge, thank you Jill. Owners are very quick to communicate prior to our stay, even installing a brand new dishwasher the day before our holiday, which was very much appreciated. Trolley to transport the luggage is an added bonus. Apartment has stunning unspoilt sea views and is an ideal base for exploring North Devon, can’t wait to return to our favourite holiday destination.

Ideally situated - near to the shops, beach, local eateries - but enough back so as not to be disturbed by any late night noise. The owners provide clear and concise instructions on all manner of things related to the apartment, which makes for a relaxing stay. As regular self caterers, we cannot stress enough what a difference basic instructions on how to operate certain items, to which key opens what, can make to a holiday.The bookcases in the lounge are like miniature libraries with handy walking maps/guides on local walks and places of interest. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay.

Plenty of room for 4 adults. Hair dryers in both bedrooms, a real bonus. Lots of parking spaces available in the carpark every day, even in the middle of August. It is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Saying that, we ate out every evening and were impressed with the quality of eateries within very easy walking distance. Plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive.

Very comfortable and quiet with stunning sea views and close to the sea and local shops an ideal base for exploring North Devon. Trolley to transport luggage via the lift extremely useful, was contacted by the owner several times prior to our holiday to ensure we had a good holiday even down to texting to inform us of the fire alarm testing. Will definitely be returning in the future it's our favourite holiday destination, must be as we've been so many times.

The apartment was immaculate, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, a well equipped kitchen, with a comprehensive shelf of information, maps booklets, local attractions, history and geology. Its in a prime position with great views and easy access to the town. It is secure and the whole building is well maintained. Westward Ho! is one of the friendliest towns we have ever visited and the local walks are so interesting. There are many excellent restaurants as well. It is excellently located boasting views of the beach from the lounge left hand window and the whole of the bay, with Lundy in the distance from the large lounge balcony window.
