“We were very disappointed.”
Although the place was clean, it wasn't comfortable. A hotchpotch of ill matching utensils and crockery, and nowhere in the bathrooms to put our stuff. There were a million flies and no attempt made to deter them. However, we were grateful for the ceiling fans.
Also no secure WIFI. The "guide" indicated that there were instructions for the appliances at the back. Well I never found them. I understand that the owner is new to the business, so my criticism is intended to be constructive.
Dear Guest. We feel devastated as hosts of our lovely log cabin that you seemed unable to enjoy its eclectic atmosphere.
My other guests have often said how much they have appreciated the collections of retro china and different utensils and personal touches that I spend many hours sourcing.
Unfortunately, sets of Ikea plates and packs of supermarket cutlery are not my equipment choices.
This is a countryside log cabin and not a genereric, shiny mobile home that looks exactly the same as every other mobile home on a big site.
We put thought and care into Down the Rabbit Hole and obviously on this occasion it was not to your taste. Pleasing everyone is difficult of course.
I noticed you haven't mentioned about the generous welcome pack?
Very detailed instructions are left for everything, so understanding why brochures for appliances were also required is a little mystifying.
There is a large bathroom cabinet and shelves in the bathrooms.
We will add to this if you felt it was insufficient of course.
Your discomfort felt is baffling to us as some guests have even said they could happily live in the cabin, watching the wildlife go by.
