    “We had a very comfortable, cosy and enjoyable stay at the potting shed.”

    The installation of the Elfin kitchen unit (which we were the first to use) was an added bonus. What a great idea. Thank you for the milk and millionaire shortbread which was an added treat.

The Potting Shed is a quaint, single-storey lodge perched in Combe, Somerset.

With a studio-style layout, a delightful garden and private parking, while enjoying a beautiful countryside location, ideal for birdwatching and more, this lodge makes an idyllic choice for couples or solo travellers.

Inside, the open-plan space has a bright and airy feel, with beamed ceilings and a plush double bed.

After your evening slumber, wake up to a coffee from the coffee maker, which can be enjoyed at the dining table, or out in the rear garden in the warmer months.

When you're ready to turn in for the night, sink into the sofa and watch a film on the TV with your other half.

From here, freshen up before bed in the shower room.

The ancient market town of Langport lies at the heart of the Somerset levels, at the crossing point of the River Parrett, mid-way between the county town of Taunton and Yeovil. Its central location makes it a thriving hub for local villages and an ideal base to explore the surrounding area, as well as the Somerset Levels, one of England’s most unchanged Landscapes. The ancient beauty and diverse wildlife of the area makes it one of the landscapes that have inspired many artists and photographers as well as drawing visitors from all over the world. The surrounding countryside teeming with pretty villages and quiet country lanes with footpaths and cycle trails to explore the picturesque Somerset Levels. Somerset is rich in wildlife and is one of the country’s top areas for birdwatching. It also offers a heritage railway, where visitors can take a trip on longest standard gauge line in the country. This is an excellent touring base for the area, with the stunning town of Glastonbury just over ten miles away, noted for its famous music festival, it also benefits from an array of superb amenities and displays a stunning abbey, Clarkes Shopping Village at Street, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge all within an easy drive. If a day at the beach is what you're after, the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea is easily reachable and offers a range of amenities as well as its wonderful sandy beach.
