2 miles from Honiton and 200 yards (private drive) off a lane, two attached cottages close to the charming owners 17th century farmhouse.
They are in a brilliant, peaceful position with fine views, on the side of beech-tree-crowned Dumpdon Hill (Iron Age fort, good walks, National Trust), above the Otter Valley.
You are welcome to help when possible on the environmentally-friendly, well managed, clean 135 acre working farm (horses, chickens, Devon cattle, Gotland sheep).
Heating and hot water are piped to the cottages and farmhouse from solar panels and a log boiler (out of sight) which is fed with coppiced wood from sustainably managed woodland.

Swallows Cottage has been excellently converted from an old threshing barn into a high quality and welcoming cottage facing privately away from the owners house and G77.

Upstairs (bottom stairgate), two bedrooms - a large family room with 5' double and folding single bed (for children under 13), and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath).
Sleeps maximum of 4 adults.
Honiton: small, important, east Devon former coaching town famous for lace-making and antique shops, in the River Otter valley (trout fishing).
Sports centre (indoor swimming pool).
Lovely farmland all round the wooded Blackdown Hills and the flat valley.
The sea (beaches) at Sidmouth, 8 miles; Exeter, 14.
