Nicola “Lovely location.”
Very quiet. Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Our second stay in this lodge and we would definitely book again
- Nicola, June 2024Nev “Perfect relaxing holiday!”
Exactly what we needed. Lovely welcome from Leon everything we needed to know explained.
- Nev, May 2024Paul “First class property, very comfortable and great views.”
- Paul, March 2024Debbie “An amazing place, number 11 had an incredible view.”
Matt the manager was brilliant he was so helpful with making sure we were comfortable in what was probably the hottest week in September with fans and air con units. Would love to go back tomorrow if only we could. Thank you Swandown for a fantastic holiday.
- Debbie, September 2023Caroline “Had the pleasure of staying at 11 The Cygnet and can honestly say that it is the cleanest and most well equipped rental that I have ever stayed in.”
The view from the lodge is amazing and it was lovely and quiet. We were greeted on our arrival by Leroy who was extremely helpful in providing information - thank you. The only down-side was that the doors from the lounge area were sealed shut (due to being broken) but as we were out for most of the day this was not too much of a problem. Would highly recommend as this is a great place to use as a base for visiting the surrounding areas and a wonderful lodge to stay in if the weather stops you from going out. Have already recommended to friends and other family members.
- Caroline, August 2023Brenda “We had a wonderful holiday!”
The most beautiful place we have stayed in, and with a tremendous view. It would be good if there was more hot water at the end of the evening - struggled to have enough for a shower and a bath, but apart from that everything was perfect. Couldn't recommend it higher - worth every penny!
- Brenda, June 2023Hi Brenda, Thank you for leaving us a lovely review and for letting us know about the hot water supply late in the day. We have amended the hot water timings to ensure our guests have plenty of hot water throughout the day and pleased it did not spoil your holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back to Swandown in the future. Kind regards The Swandown Team Property Owner
Linda “We had a lovely holiday at Swandown, thankyou.”
The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the on site staff were very helpful and knowledgeable regarding places to visit, especially Leroy. The views from the cottage were stunning.
- Linda, June 2023Nicola “A well appointed lodge.”
Standard of furnishings and fittings are very high. Everything we needed for a self catering break was provided. The beds were very comfortable as were the sofa and leather chairs. Great views from the french windows and very peaceful.
