“Lovely barn conversion, well equipped with a home from home requirements , would have given it 5 stars , but minor points let it down —— bedding on ground floor king size bedroom , a little tired and quilt very thin and no where to hang your clothes ( could do with the rail similar to twin bedroom ) The only bath mat was in the main bedroom en-suite, it would be advisable to have one in each of the two remaining bathrooms, I had to go and purchase one for the 2nd en-suite.”

The information book really does need updating. We really did enjoy the peaceful setting and a most enjoyable stay. The nine steps to the front door could do with a handrail for safety of guests who are a little unsure under foot. Continued success.

Hello Sorry to hear you were not entirely satisfied. Let me just go through the points with you. You mentioned tired bedding. I had a look at all the bedding (which is not that old) when I was there in September. I got rid of one set that was a little faded, but was not aware of any others that required updating. The quilts are not thick, but there are spare blankets. There are also hangers on the back of the door for hanging some items. It is a little difficult to put a hanging rail in that bedroom without it being in the way. I have already put a note in the information file explaining that I will be updating the contents when I am next there, which should be in November, as I do not have access to a printer at the barn. Bath mats should be put out in each bathroom/shower room. This has been an issue before and I shall speak to my housekeeper. The problem is that a few different people do the cleaning and that, perhaps, communications are not passed on as they should be. Apologies for this. As for the handrails, , I am looking into what would work best there and may well implement something soon. I am sorry that you did not find the barn to be entirely satisfactory. Kind Regards Fiona Property Owner
